商品狀況說明 |
Capture a piece of history with this rare 20 Baht Rama VIII Banknote from Series 3 Type II. The obverse features a leaf green print with red dates and serial numbers, showcasing a bust of King Rama VIII facing half-left, along with the Emerald Buddha Temple in the Grand Palace, Bangkok. The design includes a Garuda above the portrait and the three-headed-elephant Airavata in the corner, with denomination details in both Thai and Arabic numerals. The reverse presents an exterior perspective of the Phra Samut Chedi Temple in dark green print, including denomination details and an inscription on the penalty for counterfeiting. The banknote, engraved and designed by Thomas De La Rue, also features a watermark of the three-headed-elephant Airavata. Notably, the serial number K40c makes this banknote particularly valuable. The 3rd series type 2 banknotes, issued during the reign of King Rama VIII, were announced on December 12, 1936. |
