This is a nice looking larger size antique 19th century oil on canvas landscape painting featuring a Hudson River Valley scene with a loan Figure seated at the side of a hill with sailboats in the distance. Signed at lower left updated. There are minor losses to the paint as well as light scuffs but nothing of great concern. Housed in a plaster decorated wooden frame with minor losses to the plaster and paint. Overall size 23 3/4” x 38”. |
