Good and serviceable condition, extremely rare and collectible, Typical thoughtful and rugged construction meant to last generations, shows warm and welcomed patina, no real structural damage, you can see the dings on top to one side giving this relic a story to tell, feels great in the hand, smooth feel, no splintering, no smoke or bad odors. Rescued out of a crowded large shoe shine street vendor box dated 1953 with brushes and accessories from pre war to mid century. Judging by the son who continued the business and died in 1943, the brush could not be newer than 1943, and there is little info available about this company into the 20th century.
