Good overall condition. Great reading condition. Original three-quarter cream calf over green marbled boards, original leather spine label, in good overall condition and great condition to read because of the spine being professionally & sympathetically rebacked, retaining original endpapers and original spine label, with new spine of goatskin custom died to match color & also transition well with the original leather on the boards. The book is sturdy and can be read daily because of the work done. Small glue residue at inner margin, some mild toning overall, worn at extremities and spine, with exposure to corners. Two pages that I have seen have very small tears to them as well. Leaves of Grass has two pages with pencil on the very beginning, before any text. The postcard is toned, right corner chipped, chip included. |
