Completely clean, binding is like new, hinges are perfect, it feels great in your hands when reading, the material is a gorgeous deep blue cloth, and it is very immaculate. The only imperfections I could see are some rubbing to the corners, top & base of spine. Definitely does not represent an almost 100 year old book!
