I hooked up by connecting to a CD player and connecting to the AUX port. When playing a CD and connected to the AUX port there was some static where when tuning an FM stereo station it did not have that static. I also connected an antennae and tested AM and FM and working. I tested channels A, B and A+B. Also Balance, treble, bass. When moving the volume button there is static but only while moving the volume. Hooked up the CD player to phono and sound produced but not as clear as when AUX. I believe this is normal. I did not test with an actual turntable. You will see that it states 80 Watts on the back of the unit. I *believe* this to be 20 watts PER CHANNEL. |
