All keys move freely and the tenor sax plays fine on older pads/corks(adjustments may be necessary after shipping or for personal perference). This tenor saxophone has full pearls, a sterling silver bell, a double socket sterling silver neck, elaborate bell/key engraving and gold plating on the inner bell/on bell engraved areas. This tenor sax has scratches throughout from normal use and the lacquer wear is minimal, with approximately 85-90% of lacquer intact(possibly not the original lacquer). The matching neck and body serial number is in the low 298,xxx range, which dates the year of manufacture to approximately 1949. |
