Very Good-Excellent overall vint cond: Offered for your review & consideration is this simply gorgeous, estate fresh & entirely new to the marketplace 'Liberty Village' sgnd American Modernist vint handblown art glass vase in deep cobalt blue, w/episodes of iridescent violet, golden yellow, burnt sienna & teal color, appearing as wispy, flame-like ribbons of fluctuating color. The art glass vase is signed on the base in cursive, scrolled writing 'Liberty Village' & is dated (19)'78. The vase has a pontil scar on its base, signifying this is a handblown piece of art glass. Even though the vase is 46 years old & realized toward the conclusion of the Modernist period of decorative arts, it's in glorious, near originally constituted vint cond, w/no top rim flea-bites or marks. Neither are there any noticeable scuffs or abrasions on its exterior sidewalls. This wasn't a pedestrian work of art or a lazy, production piece of art glass. It was rather lovingly & carefully created. Very fine. |
