The typewriter is in excellent condition it appears only used minimally and appears not travelled much if at all at all. There are no wear on case: no dents, scuffs , no signs of delamination, no uv discoloration, the metal hardware on the case is complete, functioning, and chrome finish in great shape with light oxidization. There is barely any dust inside, and no signs of grease/oil after manufacture. The platen is fairly intact, all levers, sliders, buttons, dials are functioning smoothly and properly, all the keys are intact still having prominent markings, the type bars are straight, move and strike smoothly without rubbing or binding and the characters are bold and legible appearing free from any damage. *Exception: The plastic cover that sits on the typewriter is missing a the left peg. The cover seems secure and doesn't move with only one peg. The base of case/bottom has a few scuffs and some dimples from contact with case/cover.* See photos for details. |
