Found together in an old tin of buttons and sewing notions. The outside bullet shaped case is good and has typical enamel chipping and crazing, no active chipping. The bare silver tone metal may have had a surface covering, this is unknown. It connects and stays in place as intended, holding the wooden needle case perfectly.The interior wooden reel needle case is very good with no real damage, has a proper fitting original tiny brass cap and factory cut side notches to catch and hold thread.No smoke or bad odors, no repairs, no touch ups, all original. No maker's markings can be found. |
