You are bidding on a VERY NICE! LIGHTLY USED! well taken care of Vintage OLD HICKORY Ontario Knife Co. Tru-Edge Butcher Cleaver/Knife (see all pics). The overall length of the cleaver is a little over 12" Long, with a 7" long Cutting edge (actual length of cutting edge is 7-1/8" long). This cleaver is 100% original with a SUPER NICE! hickory handle, that has "NO" cracks, breaks or repairs on it (see pics). The original handle and full tang cleaver head are securely mounted together with 2 BRASS rivets, and the handles are not loose at all (see pics). The cutting edge is still the original factory ground edge. In other words the edge has never been sharpened after it left the factory. The cutting edge has NO chips or nicks on it, at all (see pics). And there's NO hammer marks on the spine of the cleaver at all also (see pics). The blade of the cleaver shows some very light rust spots that looks like someone tried to remove with a scouring pad at some point. SEE FULL DESCRIPTION. |
