The TIPS have never been mounted. My friend, who was an expert in custom rod building, is no longer available to answer questions, but I will try my best. Doug consistently selected high-quality materials, including FUJI, plus other top-quality tips, guides and ST. CROIX blanks—he built two rods for me before his passing. I am confident that at least 90% of the guides advertised here are FUJI. The ones I'm uncertain about are the rod tips; that are so tiny that they're illegible even with a magnifying glass, or they lack any visible branding. They must be of high quality, as I know he would not have compromised by using inferior materials towards the end. You are purchasing 25 rod tips, plus the misc. stuff in the pictures. I grouped them by size because I could not find the sizes, a lot just had FUJI on them, some I could not see anything. |
