Original from the WWII US time period in good used condition. No overseas shipping. Original WWII Painted US Navy Officer tropical pith helmet. It is Hawley maker marked and dated 1943 to the inside along with pencil written name(s). Has the original WWII painted US Navy Officer Eagle Insignia to the front. The helmet has some wear with edge fabric loss along with soft areas with wrinkles. The pith helmet has some dents with breaks to the material in some areas. The fabric color has some sun fading discoloration in some areas. The exterior of the helmet has wear and soiling with scuffs. The interior has the original leather headband with the metal fixtures along with separation to the side metal clips fasteners. Please see pictures for detailed condition and information. |
