From Australia, this WW1 Turkish Officers Artilleriesäbel Pattern Sword, manufactured in Germany between 1915 and 1918 by Pack, Ohliger & Co. Solingen for Archak Tadjirian of Constantinople, is in excellent original condition and is a first-class example of its type. Almost certainly an Australian souvenir of the First World War, swords like this one, are increasingly difficult to find and have been appreciating rapidly in value in recent years. This is the best example of an Ottoman Turkish Artillery Officers sword I have seen listed, the blade is superb. |
