1965 DISNEYLAND Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln Punch Ticket LOW SERIAL #002120 W/COA. 2” x 1” Paper Ticket. Authentic Serial Number 002120. This rare Punch Ticket comes with a COA (Certificate Of Authenticity). Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln opened at Disneyland on July 18, 1965. This attraction was created for the 1964 World's Fair in New York. It was so popular that Disney decided to make it a key attraction at Disneyland when the World's Fair ended. This super low serial number punch ticket, 002120, was probably from the very first roll of punch tickets printed for the attraction. Punch Tickets were available inside the park if you ran out of tickets from your ticket book, and only wanted to purchase one ticket for one ride. They are called "punch tickets" because they have a hole in them. They came in large rolls and were dispensed one at time, being fed through a dispenser by use of the "punch holes." I am always amazed that any of these tickets survived. SUITABLE FOR FRAMING. |
