DORNIER DO 335 V13 FACTORY PROTOTYP LARGE SIZE BASE ENGINE PISTON ;The Dornier Do 335 Pfeil was a heavy fighter used by Nazi Germany during the Second World War. It was built by the Dornier company. The two-seater training version was called Ameisenbär ("Anteater"). The performance of the Pfeil was much better than that of the other twin-engine engines thanks to its unique push-pull arrangement and the much lower aerodynamic drag of the in-line alignment of the two engines. It was the fastest piston engine aircraft of the Second World War. The Luftwaffe desperately tried to make the project work, but a significant delay in the delivery of the engines meant that only a handful were delivered before the end of the war. we attach patents of inventions as well as plans of this aircraft...COA can be provided upon request for any original items sold in your listing - ( ref : 11228)..Size : 23,6 X 17,7 X 22,9 (inches) / 60.0 x 45.0 x 58.0 (cm) |
