Like new first edition, just removed from decades of storage in a lightproof drawer in a nonsmoking home. There is a small watermark/tide mark near the bottom of the book that caused a small ink blur inside the bottom of the front cover. A similar mark is visible on the bottom of the text block in the rear of the book. The watermarks did not spread onto the text pages, however. The dustwrapper also shows signs of this water exposure, on the inside, but it is not visible on the outside of the dust cover. The top of the spine has a slight "slump" as does the top of the dustjacket. Altogether, a better-than-very-good/near-fine copy. |
