This is truly beautiful lace collar. Antique, 1800's, handmade. I have checked the lace type and all points to Point de Gaze'", but it could be Venetian lace? I am not lace expert co I cannot be sure. The condition of this collar/yoke is good considering its age with normal wear/signs of use, and few delicate spots. The original color was most likely white, now is darkened with age ecru. This beautiful piece measures 22" long, held from top to bottom folded. The neck opening is approx 12" drop.
