This is a phenomenal larger sized early 19th century oil on canvas portrait, painting of a distinguished looking Georgian era lady. The painting itself displays very well with heavy crazy throughout. Light repairs visible from the reverse. The painting and stretcher appeared to be unmarked though they easily date to the early 1800s. Housed in a vintage plaster decorated wooden frame. with a lightly aged painted finish. Plaster is in good condition overall with very minor losses. Overall, a phenomenal large sized portrait, full of vivid coloring and unique content. Overall size 32 inches across by 37 inches tall. |
