54+ year old menorah from Israel, says in Hebrew large letters SHALOM, says in Hebrew Hanerot Ha Laila Kodesh Hem, (Tonight's candles bring holiness), says in Hebrew Shebotai Yisroel, and in English, Tribes of Israel, has extensive engraving and design inthe solid brass, including the Jewish Star under the Shamosh, the top candle. This menorah holds the candles very securely in the place, has the symbols for each tribe, virtually indestructible, signed on the back "Tamar. Made in Israel '71", for 1971, and on the bottom Tamar in Hebrew. Very impressive, traditional and solid. |
