Signed on the title page, "with kind regards / C. S. Lewis / June 1938." Elegantly rebound in maroon leather by V. Wiering Bookbinder. Front and back are blank ... spine has text in gilt. 378 pp. Brown 10. Hooper 4. A very pleasing book. Exterior is marvelous. Interior has no ownership marks except one library stamp from Truro Public Library verso title page. That is the only library mark. One small stain on the dedication page, half the size of a dime. Shelley and Son Books specializes in C.S.Lewis, J.R.R.Tolkien & the Inklings. |
