This record is in pretty nice condition. The shellac still has a sheen. Under bright light, I can see a few scattered scratches and some scuffs. On the "Bucket" side, there is a V shaped scratch and another scratch that slightly catch the back of the fingernail. On the "A'Plenty" side a couple of scratches near the inner grooves also slightly catch the fingernail. The center labels are nice. On play testing (on my Dual 1229Q), this record plays well. There is a soft background hiss and occasional clicks. The first time I played the "Bucket" side, there were a couple of louder pops. I have played it twice more without hearing them. The music is very much in the forefront and is, in my opinion, very enjoyable. There are no skips or repeats. Please see photos. Sold as is. |
