Item consists of two hardback books without dust jackets. Bindings are secure. The cloth of the boards for each volume has blemishes and stains. The cloth of Part II has some areas of discoloration over the spine and one such area on the back cover. There is bumping & wear to the tops & bottoms of the spine & to the corners of the boards. These books are EX-LIBRARIES (Loyola University & US Geological Survey). They have all of the expected stamps, stickers, & call numbers. Stickers have been removed from the bottoms of both spines. There are white marker call numbers on the spines of each Part. Each volume has the pencil signature of a prior owner on the first free page. There is some brown spotting (foxing) on the page edges. (Photos # 3,4,5, are of the upper, the leading, & the lower page edges, respectively.) These books may have a slightly musty smell. Please see photos. Sold as is. |
